My period is 3 days late and im so tempted to test right now but scared of getting a wrong result if its too soon. We have been trying. Whats the right time to take the test so its accurate?
Best is after ur period is actually missed, usually a day or two late onwards. Testing before that often gives false negative. Use first morning urine for the clearest result.
I tested way too early the first time and it was negative, then positive few days later. So annoying. Best to wait for the missed period. Did anyone else jump the gun too out of excitement?
Ideally after a missed period. Some sensitive kits claim few days before but hcg may be too low then. My app reminded me to wait till the day after expected period, that gave the accurate result.
When we were trying, I learnt testing too early just stresses u out with faint or wrong results. I waited till the period was a few days late and it was much clearer. Patience is hard though!
