I've been getting some headaches during my pregnancy, mostly mild. When should I be worried about headaches during pregnancy and consider contacting my doctor?
If your headache is severe, persistent, or accompanied by blurry vision, contact your hospital immediately. My gynac made me keep a BP monitor at home just to be safe.
Headaches can be just dehydration or tension, but if they are very sharp or you see spots, please call your doctor immediately. It's always better to rule out high BP.
Mild headaches are normal due to hormone changes, but if it's a throbbing one that doesn't go away, check your blood pressure. Don't ignore it, call your gynac right away.
My tracker app flagged that severe headaches in the 2nd or 3rd trimester could be a sign of high BP. If you have swelling or vision changes too, please consult your doctor immediately.
Haan, normal headache toh thik hai, but if it is very severe and not going away, then immediately check with your doctor na. It's not worth taking a risk.
I had mild headaches in my first trimester and my doctor told me it was just hormonal. But she strictly told me to contact her if it became severe or caused blurry vision.
I used to panic at every small headache, but resting helped. However, if you get a severe headache with sudden swelling on your face or hands, please contact your doctor.
I felt so scared when I got a sudden sharp headache in my third trimester. My doctor checked my BP and it was high, so please get it checked if you feel the same.
Sometimes low blood sugar also causes headaches, so eat small meals. But if the headache is constant and severe, check with your doctor to rule out preeclampsia.
