When should i stop wearing heels during pregnancy?
I have a wedding coming up and i love my heels yaar. Im 4 months now and starting to feel a bit off balance. Till when is it okay to wear them or should i just switch to flats already? Curious what others did.
I totally understand how stressful it is to worry about every small choice like footwear, I used to overthink everything! It's completely valid to want to look good, but shifting to flats by the second trimester will give you peace of mind and prevent back pain.
It is usually best to avoid heels after the first trimester as your weight increases and balance changes. Flat, comfortable shoes are much safer for you and your baby.
Wearing heels can shift your center of gravity and increase the risk of falls, which can be dangerous. Please discuss this with your gynac to see what is safe for your body structure.
When I had terrible morning sickness, the last thing I wanted was to balance on heels! I'd say switch to flats as soon as your back starts aching or nausea makes you dizzy. Comfort should be your first priority.
My pregnancy tracker app recommended switching to flats by week 12-14 because hormones like relaxin loosen your ligaments, making ankles prone to twisting. Modern flats or wedges are much safer options!
I panicked so much in my first trimester thinking I ruined my pregnancy by wearing block heels to a wedding! Honestly, it's fine early on, but as your belly grows and balance changes, you'll naturally want to switch to flats. Don't stress too much.
Try to switch to comfy flats or sneakers as your belly grows! 👟 Balancing with a baby bump is tricky and your feet might swell too, so pamper yourself with soft slippers.
From my experience, your feet can swell quite a bit during pregnancy and even after birth. I stopped wearing heels around my fifth month because of back pressure, and honestly, soft flats were a lifesaver.
