Had a D&C two months back and we really want to start trying again. My body feels back to normal mostly but im not sure if its too soon. Ladies who conceived after a D&C, how long did u wait?
It really depends on your individual recovery, so this is one to ask your gynac directly. Generally a wait of one to three cycles is suggested. Start folic acid in the meantime and look after yourself.
Most docs say wait for at least one or two normal periods after a D and C so the uterus recovers. Mine cleared me after 2 cycles and folic acid. Best to confirm with your own doctor since cases differ.
So sorry you are going through this. There is no rush, the body usually needs a little time to heal after a procedure. Let your doctor check that everything looks fine before you start trying again, take care.
Take it slow beta, your body has been through something. Once a cycle or two passes and your doc says all good, you can try again with peace of mind. No need to hurry, it will happen.
I had a D and C and my doctor asked me to wait till my lining heals, usually a couple of cycles. Give yourself time emotionally too, it matters as much. Your gynac will tell you the right gap for your body.
