Im 20 weeks now and really want to do a 3d scan to see baby's face properly. Not sure which week gives the clearest picture na. Anyone who did it, when did u go?
Currently in my 3rd trimester and honestly, dragging my heavy body to the scan clinic is a task! We did it at 29 weeks and baby was literally hiding behind their hands. Better do it around 26-28 weeks before they run out of moving space!
Hey, usually doctors suggest it between 26 to 30 weeks when baby has some cute chubby cheeks. Chill a bit about the timing, just ask your doc in the next visit and they will schedule it perfectly for u.
Just had my baby last month and we did the 3D scan at 28 weeks! Trust me, seeing those tiny features is absolutely magical. It's best around 26-30 weeks before the baby gets too cramped in there.
I had mine around 28 weeks. Because of my thyroid, I had regular doctor follow-ups and scans to keep an eye on baby's growth anyway, so my doctor just guided me on when to do the 3D one. Do check with your gynac on your next thyroid checkup.

In our times we didn't have all this, but my daughters-in-law did it around the 7th month. Eat well, drink plenty of coconut water so the fluid is good, and let the doctor decide the best date for the scan.
When I was staying at my parents' place, my mother took me for the 3D scan in my 27th week. It was such a beautiful moment for the whole family to see the baby's little nose! It's usually best around the late second or early third trimester.
