Really want to do a 3d scan to see baby's face properly, so excited for it. But not sure which week gives the best clear picture. When did u guys get yours done?
The ideal window is between 26 to 30 weeks of pregnancy. Before 26 weeks, there is very little fat on the baby's face, and after 30 weeks, the baby's head gets too low in the pelvis. Just book it during this period for the best results.
I am currently planning my pregnancy and I keep seeing these amazing 3D scan photos online! I am so curious to know if doctors recommend this as a routine scan or if we have to ask for it separately. It must be so exciting to see the baby's features so clearly!
I am in my 27th week now and really want to get a 3D scan done to see my baby's face. Did you guys have to book it in advance, or is it done during the regular growth scans? I would love to hear how your experiences were.
My saas was a bit skeptical about getting extra scans done, saying in their time they had none, but we explained how lovely it is to see the baby's face. We went ahead with it around week 27 and showed her the pictures, and she was so emotional! It is definitely worth doing around the seventh month.
I hope to conceive soon, and seeing discussions about 3D scans makes me so eager. It sounds like such a beautiful way to bond with the baby before birth. I hope you get some lovely pictures of your little one.
I had my 3D scan done around the 28th week, and we got the most beautiful, clear pictures of my baby's face. If you do it too early, they look a bit tiny, and if you do it too late, there's not enough space to get a clear view. Now that I am breastfeeding my little one, I can see he looks exactly like that 3D image!
