Im in my 6th month and someone told me butterfly stretches help for normal delivery. But not sure from which month its safe to start na. Anyone did this, when did u begin?
When I was at mummy's place, she made me do these gentle butterfly steps in my 7th month to help with easy delivery. She used to sit next to me and make sure I had support behind my back. Just check with your gynac once before starting any yoga.
After my IVF journey, I was so scared to do any movement at first. If your doctor has cleared you for light exercise, you can start gentle butterfly stretches from the second trimester. Just be very gentle, listen to your body, and never push yourself too hard.
I literally only did my butterfly stretches so I could justify eating extra ghee parathas later! My doc allowed me to start after 16 weeks, and honestly it helped so much with leg cramps. Just do it comfortably on the bed while watching your fav show.
I panicked so much when my trainer suggested this in my second trimester, thinking it might harm the baby. But actually it's completely normal and so helpful for pelvic pain. Just start slow after your 14th week once your doctor gives the green light.
It's a great exercise for opening up pelvic muscles, usually safe to start gently in the second trimester. I did it sitting on a soft mat with pillow support under my knees. But pls do confirm with your gynac first to make sure there's no complications.
