When to get a scan for pregnancy?

My home test came positive last week and im not sure when the first scan is actually done. Should i go now or wait for a few weeks? A little confused, pls share when u all got your first one.

Haan first scan 6-7 week ke aas paas hota hai. Pehle hi mat bhago, kuch dikhega nahi aur tension ho jaegi. Doc bolega tabhi jao na.

Book it once ur home test is positive and call the clinic, they slot u for whatever week is right. I planned mine on a weekend so no leave drama. Mostly 6-8 weeks is when they call u in.

First scan usually around 6-7 weeks just to confirm and see the heartbeat. Then the dating one and the big anomaly scan around 18-20 weeks. Dont rush to get a scan the day u see two lines, gynac will tell u the right time.

I went at around 7 weeks and I still remember crying when I heard the heartbeat. Honestly wait till ur doctor calls u, going too early u might not see anything and just stress urself.

My doctor explained there are like 3-4 main scans through pregnancy. Early viability scan 6-8 weeks, NT scan around 11-13 weeks, anomaly scan 18-22 weeks and growth scans later. So its spread out, not all at once. She gave me a chart actually.
