Lost a pregnancy to ectopic last year and one tube was removed. We really want to try again but im scared and dont know how long to wait. If anyone has been through this pls share how soon you tried.
I had an ectopic and my doctor asked me to wait a few cycles so my body and mind could heal. The exact wait depends on how it was treated, surgery or medicine. Please follow your own gynac advice, this is not a one size fits all thing.
I am so sorry you went through this, it is hard on the heart too. Take your time, both physically and emotionally, there is no rush. Your fertility doctor will tell you when your body is ready, trust that process.
Usually doctors suggest waiting around 3 months but it really varies per case. Get a follow up scan and tube check done before trying again. And lean on people who care for you, healing is not just physical.
