We have been trying for a few months now without luck and im starting to think maybe our timing is off. I dont really understand which days are the right ones. Can someone explain how you figured it out?
I used an ovulation tracker app and also ovulation strips, that combo helped me pinpoint my fertile days much better than guessing. Generally it's the 5 or so days leading up to ovulation. But strips were the real game changer for me.
Aim for the days around ovulation, roughly mid cycle. We tried every alternate day in that window and it worked. If your cycles are irregular, dont stress over apps, just talk to a gynac for proper guidance.
We just started trying too. I read it's the fertile days near ovulation, around the middle of the cycle. Still figuring it out honestly, planning to ask a doctor if it doesnt happen in a few months.
Honestly with my PCOS my ovulation was all over the place, so the standard mid cycle rule didnt work for me. If your periods are irregular, please see a doctor, she can track your ovulation properly. Dont go only by app predictions like I did at first.
From what I've read while trying, the fertile window is the few days before and on ovulation, usually around mid cycle if you have a regular 28 day cycle. I started tracking my cycle to figure out those days. Apps help but they're just estimates.
