When to take home pregnancy test for accurate results?
I tested once last week and it was negative but still no period. Confused now if i tested too soon. What time of day and which day gives most accurate result? pls share.
From my experience, the best time is early morning, 2 days after your missed period. The first morning urine has the highest concentration of the hormone, so you get a very clear line. Don't rush it, sweetie, wait for a couple of days.
I completely understand how agonizing the wait can be, every single day feels like a year. For home tests, waiting until 12-14 days after ovulation is safest to avoid heartbreak. If you want 100% accuracy, a beta hCG blood test is much better and more reliable.
Haha, don't start peeing on sticks every morning from a week early, you'll just make the test manufacturing companies rich! Wait till your period is late by at least a day or two. Trust me, the wait is worth the clear double lines!
If you have a regular 28-day cycle, test on the day of your missed period. Testing early just leads to unnecessary confusion and waste of time. If you have irregular cycles, wait at least 14 days after intercourse for an accurate result.
Just wait for 4 to 5 days after your missed period for the most accurate results. It prevents all the confusion of faint lines. Take care and stay calm.
I tested 4 days before my period was due and got a negative, which made me cry so much! But then I tested again 3 days after my missed period and got a dark positive. Has this happened to anyone else here?
