My due date is set but my cycle was always irregular so the dates feel a bit confusing to me. Trying to figure out roughly which week things actually started, more out of curiosity than anything. How do you all calculate this?
My doctor said the conception date is usually estimated around ovulation, roughly two weeks after the start of your last period. The dating scan gives the most accurate estimate though. Your gynac can work it out from your dates and scan.
I used a pregnancy app and it gave me an estimated conception date once I put in my last period date. It is approximate though, not exact. The early scan confirmed the timeline better for me.
It is mostly an estimate, not an exact day. Counting from your last period and the scan gives the closest guess. Your doctor can tell you the range quite easily.
