Just got my positive test and honestly im waiting for the famous morning sickness to hit, lol. Some days I feel slightly off but nothing major yet. From which week does the nausea usually start?
Nausea usually kicks in around the 6th week of pregnancy and can last until the end of the first trimester. For me, keeping dry biscuits by my bedside and eating one before getting up worked wonders. Stay positive, it usually gets much better after the 12th week.
Honestly, I can only tell you about my own experience—my nausea started exactly at 5 weeks and lasted till week 14. I couldn't even stand the smell of tadka in the kitchen! Some of my friends never had any nausea at all, so everyone is truly different.
I am planning my pregnancy right now and reading so much about morning sickness makes me a bit nervous! Does the nausea start immediately after missing a period or does it take a few weeks? I want to prepare myself mentally for it.
I just delivered my little one, and I clearly remember my morning sickness starting around week 6. It was quite bad in the mornings, but small sips of ginger-lemon water really helped me survive the day. It completely vanished by the 4th month, so hang in there!
I panicked so much when I had absolutely no nausea in my first month, thinking something was wrong with my baby. But my gynac reassured me that not everyone gets morning sickness. Sure enough, it hit me lightly around week 8, so don't stress if you don't feel it yet.
