When will my breast milk come in during pregnancy?
First time mom here, 7 months running. I keep wondering when the milk actually starts, like before delivery or after only? just curious how it was for u all.
My doctor explained that during pregnancy, your body only produces colostrum, which might leak slightly in the third trimester. The actual transitional breast milk only comes in about 3 to 5 days after delivery, triggered by hormonal changes when the placenta is delivered.
Wow, I didn't know milk production could start even before the baby is born! I'm planning to conceive soon and learning so many new things daily. It must feel so amazing and strange to notice those changes in your body.
Trust God's beautiful design, dear, your body knows exactly what to do and when. Your milk will naturally come in a few days after you deliver your precious baby. Just stay positive, eat well, and keep your mind calm during this beautiful journey.
Beta, actual breast milk only comes 2 to 3 days after the baby is born, so don't worry at all right now. During pregnancy, some girls might see a few drops of yellowish colostrum (first milk), which is very normal. Make sure you eat healthy, warm foods like methi and dal once the baby arrives to help with flow.
Haan, pregnancy me milk nahi aata, bas thoda sa yellow liquid leak ho sakta hai last months me. Proper breast milk toh delivery ke 2-3 din baad hi aata hai na. So tension bilkul mat lo, abhi chill karo!
I am currently in my 32nd week and haven't noticed any leaking yet, so I was starting to worry too! Is it normal to not see any yellow fluid or milk during pregnancy? When did it start for the other moms here?
