First time pregnant and my MIL and mummy both give me different lists, totally confused ho gayi hu. Wanted a clear idea of what all to actually stay away from. Share ur experience please.
Keep it simple: avoid raw or undercooked meats, unpasteurized cheese, raw papaya, and high-mercury fish. Everything else in moderation is totally fine. Don't stress over every little seed, just ensure your food is freshly cooked and hot.
Hey, don't stress too much about the long lists online! Just skip raw papaya, pineapple, raw seafood, and Chinese food with Ajinomoto. As long as you are eating hot, clean, home-cooked food, you and the baby are totally safe. Have that extra paratha and chill!
Keep your food simple, fresh, and satvik as much as possible. Try to avoid outside junk, uncooked meals, and heavy papaya or pineapple. Just stay positive, pray before eating, and nourish your body with warm home-cooked food. God will take care of everything.
Oh god, I used to check google literally before taking every single bite of food because I was so terrified of eating the wrong thing! Gynac told me to strictly avoid raw papaya, pineapple, and raw eggs or unpasteurized milk. It is so stressful but once you make a safe list, it gets much easier, I promise!
Actually, my elders told me to avoid pineapple and raw papaya because they are considered 'hot' for the body. I also read we should avoid raw sprouts and half-cooked eggs. Since we are trying to conceive, I'm already trying to eat only fresh home-cooked meals.
