Which type of books should i read during pregnancy?
Now that im in my second trimester i finally have some energy and want to read something useful. Looking for good pregnancy ya parenting books, doesnt matter english or hindi. Aap log kya padhe? Pls recommend.
When I had really bad morning sickness, I couldn't focus on anything too heavy. I found that light, engaging fiction or even audiobooks were great. Later, when I felt better, I read 'The Happiest Baby on the Block' for practical tips. Choose what calms you, that's most important.
Oh, I remember those days of nesting and planning! It's so lovely that you're thinking about this. I found comfort in reading gentle birthing stories and also some books about mindful parenting. Whatever you choose, let it be something that nurtures your spirit and makes you feel calm and empowered for the journey ahead.
Books? Haha! 😂 I wish I had read more before the baby came! Definitely read all the practical stuff – baby care, breastfeeding, sleep training (if you believe in it). But also, read something just for *you* that's not baby-related, because soon your reading list will be 'Pat the Bunny' on repeat! Enjoy the quiet while it lasts!
Yaar, actually, anything that makes you feel good! If you like light fiction, go for that. Or if you wanna prepare, 'What to Expect When You're Expecting' is like a bible for many. I also read a lot of baby name books, jo ki actually super fun tha! Just no stressful thrillers, okay?
With limited time, focus on books that give you practical, actionable advice for different stages of pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care. Something like a comprehensive pregnancy guide is efficient. Also, don't underestimate the power of a good, distracting novel to unwind after a long day.
Girl, honestly, read whatever makes you happy and relaxed! You don't *have* to read only pregnancy guides if that stresses you out. I loved reading light-hearted novels, and some inspiring biographies. Don't stress too much about 'the right' books, just enjoy this time for yourself.
Oh, this is such a good question! I've been wondering the same. I want to read some informative ones about what to expect, but also maybe some nice, calming fiction so I don't get too overwhelmed. Do you think birth stories are inspiring or a bit too much sometimes?
