I want to start some light exercise but I am not sure if it is okay for everyone. My first trimester had spotting once, so I am extra cautious now. What reasons did your doctor give for avoiding exercise?
Honestly this depends person to person. If u have bleeding, low lying placenta or BP issues then doctor usually says no heavy exercise. I had a complicated pregnancy so my gynac put me on bed rest, pls dont decide on ur own, ask her once.
See in both my pregnancies my doc said no to women who have spotting, weak cervix, high BP or preterm labour risk. For the rest light walk is good. The simplest rule, if something feels wrong while moving, stop and check with gynac.
Even people who exercise normally, in pregnancy u should only do what doc clears. I love my workouts but I stopped jumping and heavy weights after my gynac told me. Walking and light prenatal yoga she allowed. Just get a green signal first na.
Anyone with twin pregnancy, cervix issues or history of miscarriage is usually told to go easy. I wouldnt say more than that, im not a doctor. Best is to tell ur gynac ur full history and let her decide whats safe for u.
There isnt one fixed list yaar, it really is case by case. Conditions like placenta previa, heart problems, severe anemia usually mean no exercise. Your gynac knows your reports so that answer will be most accurate for you.
