Why bleeding happens in early pregnancy?

I saw a little spotting yesterday and im around 6 weeks. Got scared and im planning to call my gynac tomorrow morning. Just wanted to know why this happens in early days, is it always something serious?

Don't panic but don't ignore it. Just get to ur gynac and let them check, that's the safest thing.

My doctor explained light spotting can sometimes be implantation bleeding in early weeks and is not always a problem. But she said any bright red flow or with cramps needs immediate checking. So it really depends on amount and colour, doc must see it.

Please dont take any early bleeding lightly. I had spotting and it turned out fine, but my cousin's was something serious so we always say get it checked. Call your gynac the same day even if its light.
