Why does frequent urination occur in early pregnancy?
Im only like 7 weeks and already running to the toilet every hour, even raat ko 4-5 times. Baby is so tiny right now so i dont get why already. Whats the reason behind this?
Beti, don't worry, this is very common in the early days. Your body is preparing for the baby. Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day, but perhaps reduce liquids right before bed so your sleep isn't disturbed too much. Some elder women also say to keep your feet warm, it helps. But listen to your doctor too.
My doctor explained it really well. Basically, in early pregnancy, your body starts producing more hCG hormone, which increases blood flow to your pelvic area. Also, your kidneys become more efficient at flushing waste. And as the uterus grows, it starts pressing on your bladder, even a little bit, which makes you feel the urge to pee more often. It's completely normal.
Yes, this is very common, amma. My grandmother used to say it's because the body is making changes for the baby. Scientifically, it's increased blood volume and hormones. Just make sure you are not cutting down on water intake, hydration is important. And if you have any burning, tell your doctor immediately, okay?
Haha, tell me about it! I swear I'm either running to the bathroom or thinking about my next snack. I guess it's just another one of those quirky pregnancy things, like crazy cravings and suddenly loving pickles! Just make sure to keep drinking water, even if it means more bathroom trips. You don't want to get dehydrated!
Haha, welcome to the pee parade! 🚽 It's totally normal in early pregnancy. It's because your blood volume increases, and your kidneys work overtime to filter everything, plus that tiny little uterus is already starting to press on your bladder! It's actually a good sign that things are happening. ✨
Oh, I remember that so clearly! I felt like I was constantly running to the washroom, even before I knew I was pregnant. It made me wonder what was going on with my body. It's a very real and often one of the first signs, and it's all because your body is working hard to nurture your little one. It's a beautiful process, even if it means frequent bathroom trips!
Oh, honey, 'frequent urination' is the understatement of the century! I'm in my third trimester now, and I basically live in the bathroom. In early pregnancy it starts because of hormones, and by third trimester, it's just the baby using your bladder as a trampoline. Prepare for many bathroom trips!
