Im in my second trimester and lately my inner thigh area pains a lot, specially when i get up or turn in bed. Its not unbearable but its annoying na. Is this normal or should i mention it to my gynac?
My doctor called it pelvic girdle related pain, the hormone relaxin loosens your joints so things stretch and ache. She suggested a pregnancy pillow between knees and gentle movement. Helped me a lot.
I get this too. Some gentle prenatal stretches and a pillow between my legs at night eased it. Only do exercises your doctor allows though, dont push into the pain.
Its very common, the growing uterus and loosening pelvic ligaments put pressure there, especially as you progress. Mine hurt while turning in bed. Warm compress and going slow helped me.
Usually its harmless pressure pain. But if its sharp, with swelling in one leg, or comes with bleeding or strong cramps, please call your gynac. Better to be checked once.
Oh my god same, my inner thighs and groin ache when I stand up suddenly. Is this normal for everyone? My anxiety went up but my friend said its the round ligament thing.
