Im around 5 months and after almost every meal I feel so bloated and heavy, bohot acidity bhi. Never had this before pregnancy. Is it normal at this stage or something im doing wrong?
Haan na, indigestion toh bohot common hai pregnancy mein! It's mostly because of all the hormone changes and then as baby grows, it puts pressure on your tummy. Try to eat smaller meals more often, and don't lie down immediately after eating. It helps thoda.
Ugh, indigestion is the absolute worst, isn't it? I totally get it, I had so much anxiety during my pregnancy, and indigestion just added to it. It's usually because your hormones are slowing down digestion and your growing uterus is putting pressure on your stomach. It's super common, don't worry!
Ugh, I'm going through this too! It feels like everything I eat gives me heartburn. Is it true that ginger helps? And does anyone else feel like it gets worse in the evenings? It's so uncomfortable trying to sleep with it.
I totally understand! Indigestion was one of the toughest parts of my pregnancy journey. It's because your body slows down digestion to absorb more nutrients for the baby, and then your growing uterus pushes up on your stomach. It's a sign your body is working hard for your little one, even if it feels yucky!
Indigestion is very common, beta. It happens because your hormones relax the digestive muscles, and later, the baby pushes up. Just eat small, frequent meals and avoid very spicy or oily food. For me, with gestational diabetes, I had to be super careful what I ate, so good food choices really help.
