Why is my baby more active at night during pregnancy?
im 28 weeks and the moment i lie down to sleep, baby starts kicking like crazy. all day shaant rehta hai but raat ko full active. its cute but i dont get to sleep. does this happen with everyone?
Having had a difficult journey with PCOS, I was always extra careful about baby movements. My doctor told me babies are more active when we rest, but I still maintained a daily kick diary just to be completely safe.
It's quite common for babies to move more when you lie down because your daytime movements rock them to sleep. However, always track your daily kick count and check with your gynac if you feel any sudden decrease in movements.
I totally understand that beautiful feeling of late-night kicks, it's like a sweet little private conversation between you two! Enjoy these precious moments, but do keep a gentle eye on the pattern and check with your doctor if anything feels different.
During my pregnancy, I had thyroid issues so I was always on high alert and kept my gynac updated about everything. She explained that at night we are still, so we notice the baby's movements much more clearly, which is totally normal.
Oh my god, I used to stay awake all night panicking because my baby would start kicking like crazy the moment I closed my eyes! It is actually totally normal, but if you ever feel worried, just call your doctor to get peace of mind.
I know how every little change can make you feel anxious after going through a loss. It is very natural for the baby to be active when you are relaxing, but please trust your instincts and reach out to your doctor if you ever feel uneasy.
