Heartburn can be really uncomfortable, but please know you are doing amazing. Your body is working so hard to protect your little miracle. Try to sit upright for some time after eating and sleep with an extra pillow under your head, it really helps soothe the burn.
This burning is so annoying na. I had to be very careful with my diet because of GD, so I couldn't even have sweet juices for relief. Cold buttermilk with a bit of jeera worked wonders for me without spiking my sugars. Do check with your doc before trying any new drinks though.
Oh yes, that acidity is so common. I also had terrible heartburn during my third trimester, but it all got fine post my normal delivery. Small, frequent meals really helped me manage it. Just hang in there, it’s completely temporary!
Honestly, it’s the worst when u want to eat tikka and biryani but your stomach is on fire. I am craving spicy food so much but this acidity is killing me. My gynac told me to drink cold milk, so now I am surviving on milkshakes and sweet lassi lol.
Mere saath bhi same hua tha, it is basically hormonal changes and the baby pressing up. Try eating 2 hours before sleeping and avoid spicy stuff at night. If it becomes too painful or u can't eat anything, definitely check with your gynac once, they can give a safe antacid.
