Since I am breastfeeding, I am very careful about not applying any strong chemical creams on my body that could transfer to the baby. I just use organic cold-pressed coconut oil on my tummy. It keeps the skin supple and is 100% safe for the baby too.
Keep it to maximum one cup daily, preferably not right after meals. It interferes with iron absorption which we really need. Direct and simple—don't overdo it.
My toddler is running around now, but I still remember that terrible nausea like it was yesterday! It's completely normal and usually gets much better after the first trimester. Just hang in there, eating dry biscuits before leaving bed really helped me back then.
If you do start leaking, don't buy those expensive nursing pads right away. You can just cut clean cotton hanky squares and place them inside your bra, it works perfectly and is totally washable. If you don't leak, that's fine too, less laundry!
Haha, using an OPK for pregnancy is like using a spoon to eat soup—it might work slightly, but it's not the right tool! Just spend a hundred rupees and get a real pregnancy kit. It will save you from a lot of unnecessary confusion and wild guessing!
