I don't want to give any medical advice, but during my pregnancy, my doctor suggested the standard double marker test and an NT scan around week 12 to check for any abnormalities. It was just a simple blood test and ultrasound, and the normal results gave us so much relief. Sharing this just to reassure you that there are easy ways to check.
My doctor advised eating small, frequent meals and keeping ginger or peppermint handy. But if you have severe vomiting and can't keep liquids down, please consult your gynac immediately for safe anti-nausea medication.
My doctor explained that during the first month, rising progesterone causes fatigue, frequent urination, and breast soreness. Many women don't even have nausea until week 6, which is completely scientifically normal.
Oh I was literally terrified of eating anything "exotic" thinking it might cause heat! But then I did so much research and found out avocado is actually extremely safe and healthy. Just wash it properly before cutting, dont stress.
At this point in my 3rd trimester, I feel like I've spent half my life on the ultrasound table covered in cold gel! Usually, it is around 4-5 times, unless the baby decides to be extra shy or stubborn during the scans.
