According to my pregnancy tracker app, emotional outbursts and mood swings peak during the first and third trimesters because of estrogen spikes. Tracking my moods on the app actually helped me realize it was just physical fatigue, which made it easier to manage.
I totally understand that nervous feeling of wanting to protect your little miracle in the very first month. Short rides are generally safe, but please be very gentle and ask your husband to drive carefully. God bless you both.
