I am currently in my 2nd trimester and my doc has also asked me to get this sugar test done next week. Honestly, I'm a bit nervous about the sweet drink and if I might vomit. Did anyone else feel nauseous during the test, how did you manage?
It's usually up to 9 weeks, but please don't try to be your own doctor here! Go to a real gynac to get a proper prescription, self-medication is definitely not a good idea.
When I was looking for insurance, I felt so confused about the waiting periods! Oriental Insurance does have maternity cover but the waiting period is usually quite long if it's not a corporate policy. I had to pay out of pocket because my policy didn't have the active add-on. Definitely check your paperwork beforehand.
Yes, definitely! I had a completely smooth pregnancy with almost no morning sickness or cravings, and had a healthy normal delivery. Count yourself lucky if you are feeling fine, but keep your regular doctor appointments.
I recently had my baby and dizziness and nausea were my first clues. I couldn't even stand in the kitchen without feeling woozy. If you've missed your periods, do a home test tomorrow morning.
