My gynac prescribed some pills and supplements after confirming and im a little hesitant taking medicines now. I know shes given them for a reason but still feel nervous. Did u all take them without any issue? just want some reassurance honestly.
The prenatal vitamins prescribed by gynacs are generally safe and actually important. The issue is only when people take random tablets without consulting. So safe yes, but only the ones ur doctor recommends and at her dose. Dont DIY this one.
It really depends what pills u mean, supplements vs medicines are very different. Whatever it is, dont start anything on ur own. Please ask ur gynac which ones are right for u, she will guide based on ur health. Self medicating is the part to avoid.
I was scared of taking pills too in early pregnancy. My doctor reassured me the folic acid and iron she gave were totally needed and safe. I just made sure not to add anything extra without asking her. Helped me feel okay about it.
If u mean the usual pregnancy supplements like folic acid, iron, calcium that the doctor gives, yes those are standard and safe taken as prescribed. But never just buy random pills off advice. Always go by what ur own doctor writes for u.
