Since last week ya so i can literally hear my own dhak dhak in my right ear, mostly when i lie down at night. Im 22 weeks and it feels so weird na. Anyone else got this during pregnancy?
Haan na, even I used to get so irritated with this constant thumping noise in my ear! It feels like a small motor is running inside, especially at night when everything is quiet. Just try to sleep with a slightly high pillow and don't take stress, dear. It's mostly just pregnancy blood circulation things, ho na.
Honestly, I felt so scared when this first started happening to me during my third month! I felt like my own body was playing tricks on me and every time I lay down, there was this constant whooshing sound in my left ear. It actually made me super emotional and anxious, but my gynac said it is just the increased blood flow in our bodies. It slowly went away after my delivery.
Same here, even I had this heartbeat sound in my ears when I was pregnant. When I told my saas about it, she said it's because the body is working double-time to make blood for the baby and told me to just rest and not take tension. Actually it is quite common but do mention it to your doc during your next checkup just to be safe.
Oh my god, yes! I used to hear my heartbeat in my ears, especially when I was stuffing my face with hot samosas and chutney in the evening. At first I thought maybe my salt cravings were making my BP go up, but my doc told me it's totally normal due to high blood volume. Still, keep munching happily but do get your blood pressure checked once just to rule out anything.
This used to happen to me mostly after my evening walks! I always checked with my gynac first if it's okay to continue my mild yoga and walking sessions when this started. She said it's just normal blood flow changes and allowed me to continue as long as I didn't feel dizzy. Definitely let your doctor know about it so they can check your BP.
Oh wow, I didn't even know this could happen during pregnancy! I am currently planning my family and reading up on all these symptoms makes me realize how much our bodies go through. Is it very loud or does it only happen when you lie down? Hope you feel better soon, do ask your doctor once if it gets too annoying.
Trust me, I remember being so worried about this exact same thing when I was pregnant! My little one is a naughty toddler now and looking back, I realize how much we stress over every small symptom. It's called pulsatile tinnitus and it usually goes away right after delivery. Hang in there mama, it's just a temporary phase.
