I felt hungry outside and ate bakery bun with tea, then started worrying about maida and bakery food. I dont eat it daily, just once in a while. Is it okay occasionally?
Yes a bun is fine occasionally, nothing harmful in it. Just dont make bread/buns your whole meal, balance with protein and veggies. I ate them sometimes, no issue.
Bun is fine and easy when you're tired and dont feel like cooking, I get that. Just try to add an egg or some veggies with it so it's not only plain carbs. Cheap and works in a pinch.
One thing, bun is refined flour so if your sugar is being watched keep portions small and not too often. My sugar was monitored so I went easy on maida things. Otherwise a plain bun occasionally is okay.
