Just entered my 8th month and getting nervous as the date comes closer. Want to be extra careful now. What are the things i should be doing and avoiding at this stage? pls share whatever helped u.
This is the month I sorted out all the practical stuff, kept hospital papers, money and bag ready so no last minute rush. Also confirmed the delivery package and costs with the hospital. Dont leave planning for the last week, baby can come early.
Beta the main thing now is rest and listening to your body. Walk gently if doctor allows, eat well, and keep noting babys movements. If anything feels off, bleeding, swelling, blurry vision, dont be brave, call your doctor at once.
My doctor told me to focus on protein and iron rich food, stay hydrated, keep regular checkups going, and watch baby kicks. She said avoid standing too long and skip anything that strains the belly. Anything unusual, call before assuming.
By 8th month, rest more, keep your hospital bag ready, and count baby movements daily. Dont travel long distance or lift heavy stuff. And any reduced movement, leaking or strong cramps, go to hospital immediately, dont wait.
Im in my 8th month right now and let me tell u, the do is nap whenever possible and the dont is expecting to sleep through the night ha. Eat small frequent meals, the heartburn is real. And keep your gynac on speed dial.
