I did full laser sessions before getting pregnant and now in 2nd trimester my body hair feels like its coming back thicker. Is it the hormones doing this? does the laser effect actually undo after baby? bit annoyed honestly.
I asked about this at my clinic too. They said the old treated hair doesnt magically come back, but pregnancy hormones can trigger new hair. They told me to wait till after pregnancy and breastfeeding before doing any more sessions anyway.
Pregnancy hormones can cause new hair growth in some areas, so it might feel like the laser results reversed, but its actually fresh hormonal hair. Once hormones settle after delivery it usually calms down. You may just need a touch up session later.
