How much dry fruits should i eat during pregnancy?
My saas keeps giving me handfuls of badam and dates everyday saying its good for baby. But i feel like its too much yaar. Is there a limit to how much dry fruit i should eat in a day? anyone know?
I honestly find plain soaked almonds so boring, so I chop them up and put them on my kulfi or mango milkshakes! A small fistful daily is the standard, but making them delicious is the real trick.
During my first trimester, the smell of everything made me throw up, so I couldn't even look at dry fruits. If you are also struggling with bad nausea, don't force yourself. Once you feel better, start with just 2 soaked almonds a day.
Haan, starting me bas ek choti mutthi hi khana, especially garmiyon me. My mother used to say unki taseer garam hoti hai, toh soak karke hi khana thik rehta hai. Badam aur akhrot are best for baby's brain development!
Beta, excess of anything is bad. Limit it to 4 soaked almonds, 1 walnut, and maybe 2 figs daily. In winter, you can add a dry date, but always drink a glass of warm milk afterwards to balance the body heat.
Keep it to a small handful, around 30 grams a day. Don't go overboard because they are calorie-dense and can cause constipation if you don't drink enough water. Balance is key.
I used to count exactly how many pieces of cashew and raisins I was eating, worrying it would raise my body heat! Honestly, just a tiny handful of mixed dry fruits is completely safe. Just avoid eating too many raw ones to keep your mind at peace.
Haan na, dry fruits bohot healthy hote hain but limit me hi khana chahiye. I used to eat them with my evening tea. Bas dhyan rakhna ki doctor ne jo vitamins diye hain, wo bhi time pe lete raho.
When I was carrying my twins, my mom tried to feed me a whole bowl of dry fruits every day! I had to tell her my stomach is already running out of space. A small handful is more than enough, don't let family overfeed you!
