We just started trying and im trying to figure out my fertile days. My cycle is around 30 days but not always exact, so im a bit lost on how to count it properly. How do u all track it?
With my pcos the standard day 14 rule didnt apply because my cycles were all over the place. I had to use ovulation kits and my doctor's help to figure it out. So if your cycles are irregular, dont rely only on calendar math.
For a regular 28 day cycle, ovulation is roughly around day 14, counting from the first day of your period. My doctor told me the fertile window is the few days leading up to it. Ovulation kits or tracking cervical mucus make it more precise.
I used a tracking app that predicted my fertile days and it was honestly so helpful. You log your period dates and it estimates ovulation for you. Pair it with an ovulation strip for the days that matter most.
We just started this whole journey and I found tracking my cycle made me understand my body so much better. It feels a bit clinical at first but you get used to it. Anyone have a kit they would recommend?
