Got my amh report and the value is 99, my doctor said something about it but i couldnt fully understand. We are planning a baby this year so im trying to figure out what this means for me. Anyone with a similar value conceived ok?
My doctor explained that AMH shows egg reserve and very high values often link to PCOS. She said it is not a direct difficulty score, the whole picture and ovulation matter more. So one value of 99 needs a proper consult to interpret.
Numbers like this can really worry us when we read them alone. But AMH alone does not decide conceiving, your specialist looks at it with other tests. Best to ask the doctor what it means for your specific case.
A very high AMH is sometimes seen with PCOS, that was my situation too. It does not always mean it is difficult, but cycles can be irregular which makes timing tricky. Honestly your gynac reading the full report is the best judge, not us guessing.
Dont lose heart over a single report, beta. Many women with such values conceive with the right guidance. Take the report to a good gynac and ask all your doubts, you will feel much calmer after.
I went through fertility treatment and learned AMH is just one piece, not the whole story. High AMH can actually mean good egg reserve in some cases. Please dont scare yourself with one number, sit with a fertility doctor who sees everything together.
