What to avoid in the first trimester of pregnancy?
Just entered my first trimester and im so paranoid about doing something wrong. Like food, activities, anything. can the experienced mommies tell me what all to stay away from? thoda nervous honestly.
I have been researching this a lot while trying to conceive. I read that we should avoid high-mercury fish, unpasteurized milk, and too much caffeine. It's so important to be careful with our diet right from the start.
Don't panic if you accidentally ate a small piece of something "forbidden" like a slice of papaya. Just avoid raw sprouts, unpasteurized dairy, and heavy lifting from now on, and you will be completely fine!
Beti, avoid lifting heavy water buckets or bending too much to do heavy chores. Also, stay away from Chinese food or anything with too much MSG and raw ajinomoto. Eat simple dal-rice and green veggies.
I am in my second trimester now, but in the first trimester I was so confused about what to avoid! I avoided papaya and pineapple completely, but I still got so stressed if I accidentally ate a spicy dish. Did anyone else also feel this constant anxiety?
Please be extremely careful in the first trimester and avoid any self-medication, heavy exercise, or long journeys. Because of my past complications, my gynac strictly advised me to consult them before eating anything out of the ordinary or traveling.
Avoid raw papaya, pineapple, and raw eggs/meat at all costs during the first three months. I used to be so paranoid about everything, but honestly, as long as you eat cooked ghar ka khana, you will be absolutely fine!
