I keep talking and playing songs to my bump but then i think, can the baby even hear me yet or am i just being silly haha. Im 18 weeks. From which week do they actually start hearing?

My gynac told me babies start responding to sound around the second trimester, roughly 18 to 25 weeks. By the end they clearly react to your voice and music. I used to talk and play soft songs and felt the kicks respond.
I felt so emotional when my baby kicked the first time I played a lullaby. It really feels like they are listening to you. Talking to my bump became my favourite thing honestly.
I used to read calm verses and play gentle bhajans daily, it gave me so much peace. They say baby feels your calmness too. Stay happy and talk softly to your little one, it is a sweet bonding time.
