im 16 weeks and so eager to feel my baby move for the first time. Sometimes i feel a tiny flutter but cant tell if its just gas haha. when did you first feel real movements? this is my first so im clueless.
I am 19 weeks and just started feeling these faint flutters, was wondering if that's it! Did others feel the same around now? It's so subtle I keep second guessing myself ha.
Around the 5th month you start feeling those little flutters beta, dont worry if it's a bit later. And later on, once movements are regular, if you ever feel reduced movement do mention it to your doctor.
I felt the first tiny flutters around 20 weeks, like little bubbles, I wasnt even sure at first! It became proper kicks by a few weeks later. That first feeling honestly made me cry, such a special moment.
First time moms usually feel it around 18-22 weeks. Second time you notice earlier coz you know what it feels like, I felt my second around 16 weeks. Initially it's light flutters, stronger kicks come later.
My gynac told me first movements (called quickening) are usually felt between 18 and 22 weeks for first pregnancies. She said placenta position can make it later for some. Once regular movements start, you learn your baby's pattern.
