When should i take calcium tablets during pregnancy?
Doc started me on calcium this week but didnt say much about timing. Morning ya raat ko before sleep, and should it be with food? Thoda confused, pls share what ur gynac told u.
I totally understand you want to do everything right for your little one, it's such a natural feeling! My gynac advised me to start calcium tablets a bit later in my pregnancy, usually from the second trimester. But please, every pregnancy is different, so just ask your own doctor exactly when you should start.
It's completely normal to worry about getting all the right nutrients for your baby, I used to feel so anxious about everything! My gynac usually prescribed calcium from the second trimester onwards, after the initial folic acid. But please, tell your doctor your concerns and ask them directly, they know what's best for you personally.
Mere ghar pe meri mummy ne kitne healthy cheezein khilayi, like ragi and milk daily. But for actual tablets, my doctor told me to start calcium in the second trimester, around 16-20 weeks. She said it's important for baby's bones. Always listen to your gynac's advice on supplements, na?
Oh, that's a good question. I've heard some friends start them a little later on, like after the first few months. I think it's probably best to ask the doctor when they feel it's necessary for your body. I'm just learning all this myself too.
Oh, those first few months are mostly about just surviving the morning sickness, right? I remember! For calcium, my doctor only prescribed it once I was past the initial nausea, more like in my second trimester. She wanted to make sure I could actually keep it down. Always confirm with your doc, don't start on your own.
