We are trying since 3 months and im tracking my ovulation this time. Bas confused how many days after ovulation the test will actually show correct, dont want to test too early and get sad. Anyone who conceived recently pls share kitne din baad u tested?
Strip tests are cheap but if you test too early, you end up wasting so many strips. Actually, waiting for 14 days or until a missed period is best. Saves money and also saves u from running to lab for expensive blood tests too early.
I completely understand how torturing this waiting phase is, my anxiety was sky-high during this time. But please try not to test before 12-14 days after ovulation. Testing too early and getting a single line just breaks your heart, even if you might actually be pregnant.
Honestly, when I asked my gynac's nurse at Fortis during my regular checkup, she told me to wait at least 14 days after ovulation. Otherwise false negatives cause so much unnecessary tension. Better to call up your clinic if u get confused, they guide so well.
My mother-in-law was saying to check immediately, but my doctor advised waiting till the period is missed. It takes some time for hormone levels to rise. So wait for 12 to 14 days minimum after ovulation to get a clear result, dear.
Omg waiting is the hardest part na! Honestly, checking every day after ovulation will only make the test kit company rich haha. Keep some patience and test only when u miss your dates, tab tak binge watch some shows!
