Been tracking my ovulation this cycle and we timed everything around it. Now im just confused about how soon conception actually happens after that. Can anyone explain the timing?
The egg is only viable for around a day after ovulation, so timing intercourse just before and during ovulation works best. My tracker showed this window clearly. After that, it takes a few days for implantation to actually settle.
Conception can happen within about 24 hours after the egg releases, but sperm can survive a few days so the fertile window is wider. My doc said the days leading up to and the day of ovulation are the best. Implantation then takes about a week more.
With pcos pinning down ovulation was hard for me, so I cant always tell the exact day. Tracking with ovulation kits helped a bit. If it is taking long, please get checked, dont blame yourself.
