There is no shame in asking this. Yes, it is safe, but if you have bleeding, cramping, or a low-lying placenta, then strictly avoid it and ask your doctor.
I ate it in both pregnancies, no problem. Moderation is the only rule, dont sit and finish a big bowl. Listen to your stomach, if it feels heavy that day, skip it.
