I love eating carrots, especially in salads and sabzi. Now that I'm pregnant, I'm checking everything I eat. Is carrot safe to eat during pregnancy, or should I limit it?

My MIL keeps saying kesar milk is must in pregnancy, supposedly baccha fair hota hai and all. I'm in my 5th month and want to start but no idea about the right way. Like how many strands, hot ya cold milk, kab pina hai? Anyone who actually does this pls tell.
