I totally panicked when my bowel movements increased in week 6, thinking something was wrong with my pregnancy. But my gynac said hormonal fluctuations affect everyone differently. It settled down soon, so don't worry.
Track your ovulation and be regular through your fertile days, thats the simple version. Eat well, take folic acid and try to relax, stress works against you. If nothing happens in about a year, then see a doctor for a checkup.
This is genuinely not something to figure out at home. Sharp pain on one side, bleeding or fainting, please rush to the doctor and dont delay. Early scan is the only way to confirm, and it can be serious.
Mine showed the heartbeat at 7 weeks, waiting a bit is worth it.
