After my long IVF journey, I became extremely careful about every single pill. Please dont take Augmentin unless your gynac has specifically prescribed it for u. Your doctor knows what is safest for you and the baby.
In my experience, my face bloated up like a balloon in the eighth month, and my doctor told me it was just fluid retention. I cut down on junk food and drank plenty of coconut water, which helped a bit.
Its quite common to have thyroid changes in pregnancy, so dont be alarmed. The main thing is regular testing and taking medicine on time if prescribed. Many of us managed it just fine with follow ups.
Please ask your gynac before using any laxative. Don't self treat.
POD usually means pouch of Douglas, a space behind the uterus they sometimes mention in scan reports. My doctor said a little fluid there can be normal and is not always a worry. She explained my report so I didnt panic over the word.
