I just ate simple home food, dal roti sabzi and lots of fruits. Avoided the raw papaya only because everyone said so. Keep it simple beta and you will be fine.
This was my favourite phase honestly, food finally tasted good again. I went heavy on fruits, paneer and seasonal stuff but kept the junk in check. Treat yourself a little too, a happy mom eats better.
We are also just starting to try and I had the same question. From what I read it can take a few months even when everything is fine, so I'm trying not to worry too soon.
My family kept pushing payasam and sweets on me but I had to politely refuse. I focused on more veggies, less rice, and gentle walks. Family love is sweet but on sugar control I just trusted my doctor.
My fatigue was partly from my thyroid actually, so dont ignore extreme tiredness. Regular blood tests sorted it out once doctor adjusted things. If rest isnt helping at all, mention it to your gynac.
